Oil Tank Installation:

All oil tank installations must be done by a qualified person whose competence is recognised by local authorities with jurisdiction over such matters.

Tanks installed by someone not meeting this criteria will result in a nullified warranty.

It is of critical importance that someone be present during the first fill-up to verify the integrity of the tank and pipe connections.

Please take note of warning and installation instructions affixed to the tank.

Your safety, your satisfaction and the protection of the environment are our main concerns.

Granby Steel Tanks introduces its new paint line:

Granby Steel Tanks introduces its new electrostatic powder coat paint system. All production of residential oil tanks since August 2000 features this state of the art finish. Oil tanks in future will be significantly more resistant to rust and handling.

Canadian tanks models will feature a grey colour. All US models are available in either black or grey. Our commitment is to continuously improve our products to the satisfaction of our customers.

Leg Brackets:

With the addition of a powder coat paint line in our manufacturing process, we sincerely hope that you have noticed a significant improvement in the overall quality and durability of the product.

While we attempt to insure that we get paint in every part of the tank, paint also gets inside the leg bracket threads. Consequently, this results in the installer experiencing more resistance when placing the legs.

We suggest that the installation can be made easier by using a pipe wrench. However, caution must be used to avoid cross-threading. Please inform your installers accordingly.

Quality and customer satisfaction are our prime concerns.
